With a strong presence in British Columbia, we're expanding our team and seeking an experienced Environmental Consulting Manager to lead our contaminated sites reclamation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement programs related to scientific fields
- Provide strategic guidance to senior executives on environmental issues impacting the company's activities
- Maintain budgets allocated to environmental programs
- Identify and address environmental non-compliance and required corrective actions
- Oversee environmental field work programs
- Review and sign-off on technical reports
- Foster relationships with regulators, contractors, and other third parties
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in contaminated sites reclamation/natural sciences in environmental consulting in BC, with 5+ years of project management experience
- Technical diploma or degree in a related discipline
- Proven expertise in contaminated sites on urban sites, with extensive knowledge of provincial and federal environmental regulations and guidelines
- Experience managing technically complex projects, working with dynamic teams, and overseeing cost controls
- Energy, intelligence, and integrity
- Excellent communication, technical writing, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
What We Offer
A competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, plus benefits including extended health, dental, vision, and profit sharing.
