About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Strategic Partnership Builder to join our team at The Educational Equality Institute. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment and have a strong background in business development and sales management.

As a Strategic Partnership Builder, you will be responsible for identifying and establishing new relationships with partners, sponsors, and donors to support our mission of promoting education equity. Your primary goal will be to develop and execute effective strategies to grow existing partnerships and forge new ones that align with our organization's goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and Relationship Building: Conduct online and local research to identify potential partners, sponsors, and donors. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of their needs, interests, and goals.
  • Partnership Development: Collaborate with our team to create effective communication materials for partnership outreach, including proposals, pitches, and presentations.
  • Database Management: Manage and maintain our partnership database, documenting all partnership activities, including meetings, emails, and phone calls.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in regular meetings with our team to discuss partnership progress, challenges, and opportunities.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in business development, preferably in the non-profit sector.
  • Research Skills: Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify potential partners and opportunities.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with a diverse range of people and cultures.
  • Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Ukrainian or Norwegian is a plus.
