Pizza House Food Service Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Pizza House. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Manage Budget and Cost Estimates: Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating within our means and making a profit.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers are satisfied with their experience.
  • Maintain Records: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that we have accurate and up-to-date information to inform our business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, standing for extended periods, and physically demanding.
