We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Days Inn Vancouver Airport. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, preparing and posting notices and advertisements, and collecting and screening applicants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staffing and Recruitment: Identify current and prospective staffing requirements, prepare and post notices and advertisements, and collect and screen applicants.
  • Employee Relations: Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment, review candidate inventories, and contact potential applicants to arrange interviews.
  • Recruitment and Selection: Recruit graduates of colleges, universities, and other educational institutions, co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates, and notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers.
  • HR Administration: Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, organize staff consultation and grievance procedures, and negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes and co-ordinate termination of employment process.
  • Training and Development: Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training, and supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties.

This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek and English language requirements.
