Duties:

  • Contribute to the development of electrical systems, ensuring they meet customer and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with subcontractors to review and evaluate their work, ensuring compliance with electrical specifications
  • Lead the electrical system design process, aligning it with related systems' specifications
  • Work closely with production teams to review and revise electrical design drawings
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders to ensure electrical systems meet design specifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Registration with or eligibility for registration with Engineers Nova Scotia as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.)
  • 6-10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on system integration
  • Proven project management skills, including team coordination and stakeholder engagement
  • Marine design and/or build experience is highly desirable
  • Meet CGP and ITAR requirements
