A leading Nova Scotian engineering firm is looking for an exceptional Electrical Engineer to join their team. This role involves working on high-profile projects, including the design, construction, and delivery of multiple new builds, with a focus on electrical systems.
Duties:
- Contribute to the development of electrical systems, ensuring they meet customer and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with subcontractors to review and evaluate their work, ensuring compliance with electrical specifications
- Lead the electrical system design process, aligning it with related systems' specifications
- Work closely with production teams to review and revise electrical design drawings
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders to ensure electrical systems meet design specifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Registration with or eligibility for registration with Engineers Nova Scotia as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.)
- 6-10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on system integration
- Proven project management skills, including team coordination and stakeholder engagement
- Marine design and/or build experience is highly desirable
- Meet CGP and ITAR requirements
