We are seeking a skilled Communication Systems Designer to join our Technology Consulting Group.

The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) software and experience in designing communication systems for buildings, campuses, and tenant spaces.

You will be responsible for creating high-quality deliverables, collaborating with project managers and other design team members, and ensuring designs meet local, state, and federal code requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design communication systems for buildings, campuses, and tenant spaces.
  • Update specifications to match client needs or standards.
  • Ensure designs meet local, state, and federal code requirements.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with project managers and other design team members.
  • Find solutions to design problems and communicate unresolved items for review.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required (engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, etc.) and 10 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of other experience preferred.
  • RCDD or prepping for the RCDD license examination is preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEP.
  • Familiarity with network, wireless, access control, and audiovisual design requirements.
