About the Job

This role is responsible for performing various duties on a rotating basis at the Telephone Inquiry Desk and the Back Office. Your tasks will include answering and transferring incoming calls, directing inquiries, using public address and external paging systems to contact physicians and administrative personnel, making emergency announcements, maintaining directories and records of phone lists, and performing other related duties as assigned.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual who can effectively communicate with patients and families in both English and French. As a Multilingual Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Fluently speaking and writing in both English and French
  • Having strong keyboarding skills and ability to work in a Windows operating environment
  • Being able to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Having good interpersonal communication skills and being able to interact well with others
  • Being able to retain information that is of a confidential nature
  • Being able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
