Job Summary

The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a medical professional with experience in computed tomography to work in a dynamic and patient-centered environment.

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing assigned diagnostic duties in accordance with your scope of training and experience. You will provide direct patient care and technical support functions as part of the multi-disciplinary team approach to service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • To perform computed tomography scans and other diagnostic procedures as required;
  • To operate and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with manufacturer instructions and quality control standards;
  • To collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and efficient diagnosis and treatment plans;
  • To communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care;
Requirements
  • A graduate degree in Medical Radiography or a related field;
  • Attained certification by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT);
  • Successful completion of an accredited Medical Imaging Technology Program, eligible for registration with CAMRT;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
  • Fluency in both English and French language skills may be required.

We offer competitive salary and benefits packages, including a base salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.
