Job SummaryWe are hiring Registered Nurses and Registered Psychiatric Nurses into a variety of units and sites. As a member of our team, you will provide nursing care to assigned clients, enhance quality of life from the perspective of the client/family, consult, confer, and collaborate with other healthcare providers, and maintain and advance your own clinical competence.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to assigned clients by working independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
- Enhance quality of life from the perspective of the client/family.
- Consult, confer, and collaborate with other healthcare providers.
- Maintain and advance your own clinical competence.
- Participate on designated hospital committees/teams and approved research projects as assigned.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Graduation from a recognized program in Nursing.
- Current (or eligibility for) Provisional or Practising registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM).
- For Mental Health & Substance Use nursing positions, a minimum 6 week or 240 hours of clinical practicum/preceptorship in a mental health setting supplemented by completion of coursework in mental health or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
The estimated salary range for this position is $41.42/Hr. - $55.91/Hr.
