We offer highly competitive compensation packages, including fully paid and planned travel assignments, with estimated salaries ranging from $80,000 to $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
Job Description
As a Public Health Nurse, you will work in a team atmosphere within an expanded scope of practice providing healthcare services to pre-natal and adult patients for trauma and primary care, including delivery of newborns, treating minor acute illnesses and injuries, and conducting general treatment clinics.
You will utilize the skills of observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, and health teaching according to care plan, ensuring that clients' emotional, spiritual, physical comfort, and safety are met to the greatest possible extent within the scope of practice.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A graduate degree from an accredited School of Nursing
- A nursing license through the governing body in good standing
- A minimum of 1500 hours of experience in remote, isolated, or semi-isolated communities as a Public Health Nurse, or two years of full-time experience as a Public Health Nurse
