With Company 1 - The Manufacturers Life Insurance Company, we're seeking a skilled Senior Business Growth Manager to drive business development and expansion in the mortgage broker channel.

About the Role

This is a high-profile opportunity for an experienced sales professional to leverage their expertise, the Manulife brand, and our resources to grow revenue in the mortgage market. As a key representative of Manulife in the Canadian financial industry, you'll build strong relationships with mortgage brokers, industry partners, and other stakeholders to drive business growth and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Business Development - You will identify and capitalize on new opportunities to drive business volume in the mortgage broker marketplace.
  • Operational Efficiency - This role requires effective time management and organization to prioritize tasks and meet objectives.
  • Internal and External Relationships - You'll collaborate internally and externally to foster transparency, positivity, creativity, and a sense of humor.
  • Strategic Direction - As the eyes and ears of Manulife in the marketplace, you'll contribute to strategic planning and management of key accounts.

Requirements

  • Candidates Must-Haves
  • College or University degree in a related field is required
  • Prior sales experience in the financial services industry, ideally with familiarity in either the mortgage or insurance industries
  • Knowledge of the mortgage market, mortgage sales, mortgage broker roles, lender market, etc.
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Other preferred qualifications include successful completion of industry-related courses such as LLQP (or working towards completion)

What We Offer

Manulife offers competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $120,000 per annum based on location, relevant job-related factors, and performance incentives.
