This Senior Analyst, Business Development position reports to the Manager, Business Development and involves developing and updating comprehensive accurate financial models to measure strategic investment opportunities across the nitrogen & phosphate business units. The successful candidate will be curious, proactive, and enjoy working in a collaborative, supportive team environment. They will possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as effective critical thinking skills.

This position is located at Saskatoon Corporate Office in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Note: This role allows for a flexible hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with multiple stakeholders to collect relevant information for consideration in financial analysis and business case development
  • Create and deliver presentations which concisely summarize analysis and conclusions for management's decision-making purposes
  • Maintain reporting and drive governance for the N&P investment portfolios
  • Develop strong relationships with key business partners across N&P business units
  • Superior analytical skills with capacity to identify, scope and solve complex problems
  • Interface with various levels of management and leadership
  • Balance multiple projects in an evolving environment, effectively managing competing priorities to deliver quality work on time
  • Complete ad hoc analysis, projects, and initiatives as assigned

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of related and progressive work experience in a business or financial analysis role
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related area and post-graduate designation (or working towards) such as a CFA, CPA, CBV or MBA in Strategy, Finance or similar
  • Experience in designing and utilizing complex financial models
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Experience with SAP, HANA, Hyperion, Power Query and Power BI would be an asset

Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive compensation package, including benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
