Position Overview:
Our client, a leader in the industrial sector, is seeking two Automation Specialists to enhance their operations. The Automation Specialist will focus on the programming, implementation, and upkeep of Allen Bradley control systems in a robust industrial setting. This position demands a strong background in PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programming, HMI (Human-Machine Interface) development, and familiarity with SCADA systems would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop PLC programs utilizing the Allen Bradley RSLogix software suite.
  • Set up HMIs for user interaction and system oversight.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues within control systems to reduce operational downtime.
  • Perform routine maintenance to ensure the consistent performance of automation systems.

Required Qualifications:
  • Electrical Technician Diploma or a Licensed Electrician.
  • Demonstrated experience in PLC programming with Allen Bradley ControlLogix or CompactLogix systems.
  • Expertise in HMI development using Allen Bradley FactoryTalk View or comparable software.
  • Understanding of heavy industrial operations such as manufacturing, mining, or utilities.
  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
