About the Role

Baptist Housing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in Kelowna. As a Nurse Leader, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing team leadership and guidance to ensure the delivery of exceptional care
  • Developing and implementing person-centered care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident
  • Conducting resident assessments and implementing nursing interventions as needed
  • Managing the health of residents with unstable conditions and providing medication administration and treatment
  • Fostering positive relationships with residents, families, and team members
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols

About You

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse who is passionate about delivering exceptional care. You will have:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives
  • Experience working in a long-term care environment, preferably
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload
  • A commitment to providing person-centered care and promoting the well-being of residents
