Behaviour Interventionist - In Home Care

ComForCare Home Health Care is a leading provider of in-home care services, dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. We are seeking compassionate and skilled Behaviour Interventionists to support children in reaching their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement individualized behaviour plans developed by a registered BCBA or behaviour consultant.
  • Regularly record data on behaviour goals, skill acquisition, and client progress.
  • Provide feedback to the supervising BCBA or behaviour consultant.
  • Deliver individualized support to clients in various settings (home, school, community).
  • Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and other caregivers to ensure consistency in the behaviour plan.
  • Prepare materials and environments for therapy sessions (e.g., visual supports, token systems).
Requirements:
  • A passion for working with individuals with developmental disorders, particularly autism.
  • Knowledge of behaviour management techniques.
  • At least 1 year of prior experience working as a Behaviour Interventionist or related roles in a school, clinical, or home setting is beneficial.
  • High school diploma or bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related fields.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is required; additional languages are a plus.
  • Eligibility to legally work in Canada is necessary for this position.
