Behaviour Interventionist (BI) - In Home Care

What we are looking for:
- A passion BI experience working with individuals with developmental disorders, particularly autism.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques.
- At least 1 year of prior experience working as a BI or related roles in a school, clinical, or home setting is beneficial.
- High school diploma or bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related fields .
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is required; additional languages are a plus
- Eligibility to legally work in Canada is necessary for this position
- A valid driver’s license is a plus
- Having a RBT certificate (Registered Behaviour Technician) is an asset
- Completion of training in ABA principles
- CPR Certification is required
- First Aid Certification is required
- Covid Vaccination Proof is required
- Current TB screening and a Criminal Record Check are required
- Follow behavior intervention plans (BPI) developed by a registered BCBA or behavior consultant.
- Regularly record data on behavior goals, skill acquisition, and client progress.
- Provide feedback to the supervising BCBA or behavior consultant.
- Deliver individualized support to clients in various settings (home, school, community).
- Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and other caregivers to ensure consistency in the behavior plan.
- Prepare materials and environments for therapy sessions (e.g., visual supports, token systems).
- Professional Development
Maintain accurate records and documentation using ComForCare online application. - Exhibit professionalism while representing ComForCare culture.
Salary Range:
- $18- $20
