**Job Overview**

We are looking for a fun and dedicated behaviour interventionist (BI) to join our team to provide one-on-one support for an eleven year old, girl diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. As a BI, your role would be to implement a behaviour plan of intervention (BPI) to help teach a variety of essential skills in toileting, communication, and dressing in a positive and nurturing environment while collecting appropriate data. All training is provided, along with regular supervision and support from a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA).

**Duties**
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans tailored to our daughter's needs.
- Assist with toileting routines, promoting independence and self-care.
- Support communication development through engaging activities and communication app on her tablet.
- Help our daughter learn dressing skills, including choosing appropriate clothing and self-dressing.
- Use positive reinforcement strategies to encourage skill development.
- Collaborate with family members and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of interventions and progress
- Utilize data collection methods to monitor behavior trends and outcomes

**Qualifications**
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- Can provide a clear criminal record check
- Kind, fun, patient and energetic
- Commit to at least one year
- Be able to implement behaviour programs as designed (all training provided)
- Have strong written and communication skills
- A background in ABA, psychology or child development is preferred, but not necessary

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $18.00 per hour
