We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Operations Manager to join our team at Flexstaf IT. Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the production team, ensuring the effective execution of production schedules and delivery dates.
- Develop and implement production planning processes, including forecasting, inventory management, and supply chain optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve material and capacity issues, ensuring on-time delivery and minimizing inventory investment.
- Plan and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly production requirements with the operations team, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal delivery performance.
- Monitor and analyze production labor hours, reporting discrepancies and trends to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Ensure the production environment complies with all environmental and safety regulations, participating in required Health and Safety, GMP, and HACCP training.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in a leadership/management role at a manufacturing facility.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) for data analysis and trend monitoring.
- Experience with continuous improvement/lean tools such as Six Sigma, 5-S, and Lean Manufacturing.
- Broad understanding of safety systems and enforcement of safety policies.
- Demonstrated leadership, team-building, and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate employees and assess their skills.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and listening skills, with the ability to work with and lead teams in a collaborative environment.
- Adaptable and flexible in dynamic environments, with strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
The successful candidate will be required to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, and may be required to engage in bending, stooping, squatting, and ladder climbing. They must also be able to work in varying weather and temperature conditions, including extreme heat, humidity, and cold, and may be required to lift heavy objects (up to 25 kg or 50 lbs).
