We are seeking a highly motivated Program Coordinator to join our team at the Alzheimer Society of B.C. in British Columbia, Canada.

**Job Summary:**

The Program Coordinator will be responsible for delivering support and education programs to individuals affected by dementia and their caregivers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, experience working with vulnerable populations, and a strong understanding of dementia and its impact on individuals and families.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement support and education programs for individuals with dementia and their caregivers;
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, community partners, and stakeholders to build relationships and promote services;
  • Provide one-to-one telephone support to individuals with dementia and their caregivers;
  • Maintain accurate records and statistical reports related to program delivery and outcomes;
  • Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers to assist with program delivery;

**Requirements:**

  • Post-secondary education in health or social sciences, or equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • 3-5 years of experience working in a health or social agency-related function;
  • Strong knowledge of northern communities and ability to engage with Indigenous peoples and their communities;
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills;
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office software;
