CNIB Foundation is seeking a highly motivated Coordinator, Community Engagement to join our team in Thunder Bay, ON.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a mission-driven professional who shares our passion for creating inclusive and accessible communities. As a Coordinator, Community Engagement, you will play a vital role in supporting our programs and services in Northern Ontario.

Job Summary:

  • Coordinate programmatic, operational, administrative, and logistical responsibilities in the region.
  • Support the execution of the CNIB Mobile Hub in collaboration with other program areas.
  • Represent CNIB in local communities and engage with stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with CNIB policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement community engagement strategies to promote CNIB's programs and services.
  • Build strong relationships with program participants, volunteers, and community partners.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Program and Community Engagement team to develop and implement programs and services.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in administration, customer service, and service delivery within a charity/not-for-profit organization.
  • Proven track record of success in volunteer coordination and administrative support roles.
  • Excellent customer service expertise.
