Job Title: Executive Chef

Weber Powder is seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to cooking staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Create new recipes that meet our quality standards and appeal to our guests' tastes.
  • Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food to ensure consistency and excellence.
  • Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations and high-quality food service.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets and special functions.
  • Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Cook Trade Certification, Safe Food Handling certificate, Emergency First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation.
