Job Title: Executive Chef

Weber Powder is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests.

Job Summary:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of cooks and kitchen staff to prepare and serve high-quality meals
  • Developing and implementing menus that meet the needs of our guests
  • Managing kitchen inventory and supplies
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless service
Responsibilities:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining accurate records of food costs, consumption, and inventory
  • Demonstrating new cooking techniques and equipment to kitchen staff
  • Creating new recipes and menus
  • Supervising cooks and other kitchen staff
  • Preparing and cooking complete meals and specialty foods for events
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a chef or in a related role
  • Culinary arts training or equivalent experience
  • Safe Food Handling certification
  • Emergency First Aid and CPR certification
  • WHMIS certification
  • Food Safety certification
Working Conditions:

The Executive Chef will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a team of cooks and kitchen staff. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
