Job Summary

We are seeking a Business Development Executive to generate revenue growth through new business opportunities, build relationships with current and new clients and lead key partner relationships in the Alberta region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mature and execute PQA Testing's Alberta growth strategy
  • Manage new-client and base-customer growth across enterprise and government accounts
  • Manage & grow key business partner relationships
  • Participate in industry networking events
  • Maintains ownership of all phases of the sales cycle
  • Responsible for the upkeep and accuracy of CRM data
  • Lead on strategic proposals
  • Work with the marketing team on strategy/activity in the region
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and sales activities
  • Share market feedback and customer insights with internal teams to improve services and offerings
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and sales techniques
  • Participate in training and professional development programs as required

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years' experience selling IT services to enterprise and public sector clients in Alberta, with a preference for experience in the Alberta resources sector
  • Experience finding, developing and closing managed service or managed capacity contracts
  • Proven track record as a Business Development Lead achieving sales objectives and targets
  • Experience using Microsoft 365 and CRM software to manage customer interactions
  • Experience with strategic planning, business management, and successful negotiation
