Program Coordinator I

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Program Coordinator I to join our Recreation Therapy/Adult Day Services department. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing general recreational/leisure programs to support residents'/clients' health and well-being in residential, acute, and/or adult day program settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop recreational/leisure programs for residents/clients
- Implement and evaluate programs to ensure quality and effectiveness
- Supervise up to four Activity Worker II positions and provide direction to designated volunteers
- Carry out therapeutic components of a resident's care plan as assigned
- Assist with monitoring patients'/residents' progression
Requirements:
- Graduation from a recognized recreational program plus one year's recent, related experience
- Valid Class IV vehicle license
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to organize work and supervise others
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
