Recreation Therapy Program Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Program Coordinator to join our Recreation Therapy/Adult Day Services team. As a Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing general recreational/leisure programs to support residents' health and well-being in residential, acute, and adult day program settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and implement general recreational/leisure programs
- Supervise up to four Activity Worker II positions and provide direction to designated volunteers
- Carry out therapeutic components of a resident's care plan as assigned
- Monitor patients/residents' progression
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Graduation from a recognized recreational program
- One year of recent, related experience
- An appropriate valid Class IV vehicle license
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to organize work
- Ability to supervise
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
- Ability to deal with others effectively
- Ability to operate related equipment
