Administrative Support Specialist for Construction Operations

The role of the Construction Office Coordinator is a vital part of the B&W MEGTEC team, supporting the Construction Operations department and project sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of field purchasing files
  • Ensure timely documentation of employee attendance for payroll purposes
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new craft hires
  • Verify compliance with union agreements regarding EDS rates
  • Provide administrative support to project leadership and accountants for financial analysis, forecasting, and customer billing
  • Serve as a point of contact for project teams regarding areas of concern
  • Maintain company property and resources, adhering to policies and procedures at job sites
  • Process and verify accuracy of wage and fringe rates for payroll system
  • Issue field checks for local procurement and I-expense
  • Capture and submit field invoices for approval
  • Pursue authorizations for customer billing on project costs
  • Ensure adherence to procedures on all job sites
  • Participate in interviews and training for new hires

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to multi-task and manage priorities.
