Senior Property Manager Job Description
At FirstService Residential, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Property Manager to join our team. As a Senior Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing and directing a team of Property Managers to ensure the smooth operation of our residential communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to Property Managers to ensure they are meeting their goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve property operations and resident satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Regional Directors to develop and implement business plans and goals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
- Conduct site inspections to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for enhancement.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with Board of Directors, Property Managers, and internal departments.
- Provide training and development opportunities to Property Managers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Manage and direct the work of Property Managers to ensure efficient and effective property operations.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of property operations and financial performance.
- Participate in meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, and obtain approvals.
Requirements:
- Hold a General License in good standing.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field from an accredited college or university.
- 5 years of working experience in residential, commercial, or industrial management.
- 5 years of supervisory experience.
- Working knowledge and experience in financial accounting, commercial real estate, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate multiple projects.
- Excellent organization, motivation, leadership, management, and interpersonal skills.
- Critical thinking, complex problem-solving, judgment, and decision-making ability.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
