Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Adidas. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in ensuring the store meets its operational, business, and personnel targets.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Excellence: Assist the Store Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring that all key performance indicators are met and profit and loss expectations are achieved.
- Leadership and Development: Develop and implement effective succession, recruiting, hiring, and training plans to ensure a high-performing team and minimize store turnover.
- Customer Service: Foster a customer-centric culture by promoting excellent customer service and ensuring that all employees are trained to meet Retail Standards.
- Inventory Management: Work closely with the Store Manager to ensure inventory levels and styling selections are optimized to maximize sales.
- Financial Management: Assist the Store Manager in maintaining wage costs and overall expense control within assigned guidelines.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure the accuracy of all cash management and minimize shrink control within the store. Maintain confidentiality of retail operating information and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Communication and Collaboration: Develop seamless communication with other retail store managers and adhere to visual merchandising guidelines.
- Education: College or University degree and 1 year of Retail experience, preferably in the Sporting Apparel & Footwear industry.
- Experience: Prior management and key holder experience preferred.
- Skills: Proficient retail knowledge, operational and selling skills, retail business management skills, coaching and talent management skills, and excellent computer skills.
