About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Foot Locker. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coach and motivate your team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve store operations, including visual merchandising, inventory management, and employee development
  • Partner with store leadership to drive business results and achieve sales goals
  • Lead by example and demonstrate a strong work ethic, with a focus on delivering results and exceeding customer expectations
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge to provide expert advice to customers
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in a retail or customer-facing environment
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
