About the Role

We are seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Rx Connect Specialty Pharmacy in Waterloo. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting the Pharmacy Manager in the day-to-day management of workload and collaborating with Pharmacists and Pharmacy Assistants to fulfill prescription orders.

  • Assist Pharmacy Manager in managing workload
  • Collaborate with Pharmacists and Pharmacy Assistants
  • Work collaboratively with Patient Programs
  • Prepare and process billings and claims
  • Enter prescriptions into the computer
  • Maintain inventory of medications
  • Pack and ship prescription orders
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP)
  • Two or more years of related pharmacy experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary, ranging from $65,000 to $85,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including dental care and on-site parking. The position is full-time and permanent, working Monday to Friday. Please note that a licensed Pharmacy Technician in Ontario is required.
