Job Overview

NV Electrical Inc is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Foreman/Woman to lead our team in delivering high-quality electrical construction services. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of electricians in the execution of electrical construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety standards;
  • Prepare production reports and recommend measures to improve productivity;
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality;
  • Supervise workers and projects, co-ordinate and schedule activities, train or arrange for training, and estimate costs and materials;
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, read blueprints and electrical schematics, and recommend personnel actions;
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, establish methods to meet work schedules, and co-ordinate work activities with other work units;
  • Prepare working drawings and organize tasks to accomplish the work.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree or diploma in a related field or equivalent experience;
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical construction, preferably in a supervisory role;
  • Construction Electrician Trade Certification and Red Seal Certificate;
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail;
  • Valid driver's licence and own vehicle (vehicle supplied by employer).
