Support Services Director

Aramark is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Support Services Manager to lead our operations in a healthcare facility in Winnipeg, MB. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing food and facilities services, ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies and client standards, and driving patient and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Operations Management: Plan, administer, and direct all unit activities related to food and facilities service, including financial accountability and compliance with established standards.
- Team Leadership: Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments to provide a unified experience for patients, residents, visitors, and employees.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and overall workplace safety standards.
- Client Relations: Interact with client management and maintain effective client and customer relations at all levels of client organization.
- Performance Management: Provide overall direction and manage performance for all supervisors and front-line employees, ensuring employee development, engagement, and compliance with human resource-related policies and standards.
- Financial Management: Develop operational component forecasts, explain variances, and ensure compliance with all contract obligations.
- Inventory and Menu Management: Assist in ordering, inventory management, menu development, and production planning.
- Employee Scheduling: Maintain and verify employee work schedules through web-based payroll tracking systems.
- Financial Commitments: Ensure adherence to financial commitments and all Aramark programs and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Accounting Documentation: Monitor and verify accounting documentation through web-based systems.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience managing operations with financial and operational responsibility.
- Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, ability to communicate effectively, and comfortable using Office365.
- Qualifications: Red Seal chef or strong culinary experience, EVS experience, and previous experience managing in a unionized environment.
