Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and friendly Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Ponderosa Motor Inn. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Process group arrivals and departures, taking into account any special requests or requirements.
  • Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services, including dining options, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Offer general information about points of interest in the area, helping guests make the most of their stay.
  • Exchange foreign currency and process guests' departures, calculating charges and receiving payments.
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms, maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures, prioritizing guest safety and well-being.
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages, providing excellent communication and customer service.
