The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic Bilingual Insurance Sales Specialist to collaborate with top wholesale professionals within our Retail Markets unit. This unit offers a range of insurance and investment options to Canadians, working closely with financial advisors nationwide. As an Internal Insurance Sales Specialist, you will partner with External Wholesalers to manage a sales region, focusing on increasing insurance sales.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with financial advisors through daily engagement and support.
- Proactively identify sales opportunities by utilizing resources and creating effective business plans.
- Coordinate tasks efficiently to ensure advisors have the necessary support for success.
- Handle incoming advisor inquiries promptly and provide comprehensive solutions.
- Maintain accurate advisor profiles and activity data to track progress and performance.
- Collaborate with peers to share leads, best practices, and innovative ideas.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the insurance or sales industry.
- Fluency in both French and English is essential.
- LLQP designation is preferred but not required.
- A college or university degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- A high-energy, creative, and innovative mindset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
