About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Merchandising Manager to join our team at Sport Chek. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and executing merchandising strategies, and leading a high-performing team of sales associates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Growth and Development: Develop and execute sales plans to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Merchandising and Inventory Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement merchandising strategies, manage inventory levels, and optimize product assortment.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Customer Experience: Foster a positive and engaging customer experience by ensuring a well-stocked and visually appealing store environment, and providing personalized service to customers.
  • Business Acumen: Analyze sales data and market trends to inform business decisions and drive sales growth.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail sales or merchandising role, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
  • Skills: Proven track record of sales growth, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a passion for the retail industry.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
