About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead our Clothing Department at the Durham Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and coaching your team, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and meet sales targets.
  • Lead and coach a high-performing team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive loyalty and repeat business.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and promotions.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to ensure our department remains competitive.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment that fosters teamwork and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail sales management role, preferably in the sporting goods industry.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
