Strategic Human Resources Leader

The Strategic Human Resources Manager at Argus Properties Ltd is responsible for leading the HR team to align HR practices with the company's strategic goals. This role requires a dynamic leader who can enhance employee engagement, talent acquisition, and development across all properties.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the overall business objectives of the company.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the property HR teams to ensure effective delivery of HR services.
- Support the implementation of hotel-specific performance goals and oversee performance compliance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community and industry stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal staffing levels to meet current and future demands by analyzing business needs and trends to forecast staffing requirements.
- Manage annual recruitment hiring events both internal and external.
- Support seasonal hiring needs, led by Resort HR Coordinator.
- Partner with department heads to identify skill gaps and devise targeted recruitment, training, and development strategies.
The Strategic Human Resources Manager will design and implement training programs that address both technical skills and soft skills essential for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Collaborate with department leaders to identify individual and team development needs.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning through mentorship opportunities and performance evaluations.
The role includes designing and implementing competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent.
- Assist in the administration of annual increases, timekeeping, benefits enrollment, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in an HR Generalist role.
- CPHR Designation is considered an asset.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships at all levels of the company.
- Working knowledge of BC Employment Standards.
Estimated salary range: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
