Restaurant Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Shift Manager to join our team at Subway Sandwiches. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff to ensure excellent customer service and efficient food preparation.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff to ensure smooth operations and high-quality customer service.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
- Support for Persons with Disabilities: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
- Support for Indigenous People: Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
