Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Edo Japan (Riverside). As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely delivery of food and services.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing resources.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business improvement.
  • Prepare and submit reports on a regular basis, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring that all aspects of food service are executed to perfection.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
