Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Specialist to join our team at Conseil Cri de la santé et des services sociaux de la Baie James. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and implementing professional techniques in the field of human resources to ensure optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the entire staffing cycle process
- Develop and update tools required for the staffing cycle
- Develop recruitment and visibility strategies and assess their impact
- Participate in visibility activities with partners
- Participate in organizational workforce planning and resource definition for client groups
- Integrate and welcome new staff
- Compile statistics for management indicators
- Establish and maintain effective communications with human resources departments and the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in administration, human resources, industrial relations, or another relevant discipline
- Three years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of MSSS legislation, regulations, the Ministry Network, and programs
- Knowledge of First Nation health/social service models, trends, and issues (an asset)
- Knowledge of Cree culture, language, and social/health realities in Eeyou Istchee (an asset)
- Communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
- Excellent planning and decision-making skills
- Computer skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Language
- Fluent in English and French
- Fluency in Cree (an asset)
Other
- Willing to travel on a regular basis
