Human Resources Specialist

École Vanguard is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the existing team and participating in human resources projects.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and send out documents required for the induction and integration of new employees;
- Help welcome employees and candidates, and respond to general inquiries;
- Carry out job postings at the various sites;
- Analyze curricula vitae to validate their eligibility while respecting requirements, qualifications and the various collective agreements;
- Ensure administrative follow-up and the process related to the hiring of personnel and employee files in accordance with the deadlines set out in the collective agreements, and process the file;
- Draft letters (offers, contracts);
- Provide payroll support;
- Ensure quality of information in computer system and employee files;
- Prepare documentation for training activities;
- Management of CNESST and disability files;
- Participate in and format PowerPoint presentations to employees;
- Ensure workforce plan compliance;
- Ensure file archiving and filing management;
- Assist the Labor Relations Committee in preparing minutes;
- Participate in the development of various HR policies.
- Bachelor's degree in administration, human resources management or other relevant discipline;
- At least 2 years' work experience in human resources;
- Excellent knowledge of the MS Office suite, particularly Word, Excel and Powerpoint;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Organizational skills, rigor, autonomy, analytical skills;
- Ability to take a proactive approach to tasks;
- Excellent command of spoken and written French and English;
- Ability to work with discretion and respect for confidential information;
