Job Description

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in a similar role and possess excellent leadership and communication skills. You will be responsible for:

  • Demonstrating new cooking techniques and equipment to cooking staff
  • Instructing cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food
  • Supervising cooks and other kitchen staff
  • Preparing and cooking food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a sous chef or equivalent role
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to your base salary, you will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.

Additional Information

This role requires you to work in a physically demanding environment, with long periods of standing and manual labor. You must be able to work effectively under pressure and maintain attention to detail throughout your shift.
