At Northern Escape Heli Skiing, we are seeking a highly skilled Mountain Expedition Leader to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading groups on outdoor sport and recreational trips, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the expedition. Your expertise in wilderness first aid, avalanche training, and ski guiding will be invaluable in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead groups on outdoor expeditions, providing guidance and instruction on wilderness survival, orienteering, and skiing techniques.
  • Operate off-road vehicles and communication devices, ensuring seamless communication with team members and emergency services.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure that all necessary gear is in good working condition.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

  • Advanced Wilderness First Aid Certificate
  • Level 2 avalanche training, Canadian Avalanche Association (CAA)
  • Ski Guide Certificate
  • Valid driver's license
