Job Summary:

The Director of Retail Accounts – Quebec Market is a key leadership role responsible for the support and execution of the retail accounts strategy in the Quebec region. This position requires a deep understanding of individual insurance products and sales strategies, as well as excellent communication and public speaking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retail Account Oversight: Manage and oversee components of our retail account strategy, including effective management and coordination of the marketing allowance program.
  • Leadership in Sales Support and Strategy: Develop, execute, and implement strategies to help the Quebec Market Retail Distribution team drive forward key initiatives with our retail accounts, including coordinating national firm events and delivering regional distributor and national distributor training on Manulife's products and solutions.
  • Account Management: Dedicated account leadership for a selected number of firms, including effective onboarding of new firms.

Requirements:

  • 8 to 10 years of experience in the financial services industry with a deep knowledge of individual insurance products and sales strategies.
  • Fully bilingual (French/English) with excellent communication and public speaking skills.
  • Valid Driver's License for face-to-face client meetings.
  • Working towards or have obtained CFP, CLU, CHFC, CHS designations.
  • Extensive knowledge of the financial services industry and distribution in Canada.
