Job Title: Shift Manager

Five Kites Hospitality Inc. is seeking a skilled Shift Manager to join our team. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to our staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and ensure that our inventory is properly managed.
  • Prepare Reports and Budgets: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key metrics, and develop budgets and cost estimates.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet the highest quality standards, and take corrective action when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a food service or hospitality environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
Work Environment:

As a Shift Manager, you will work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods and working under pressure. You will be required to maintain a high level of attention to detail and ensure that our customers receive exceptional service.

  • Excellent Oral Communication: You will be required to communicate effectively with our staff, customers, and management team.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
