Job Title: Associate Vice-President Agriculture

As a key member of the National Bank team, you will play a vital role in driving the success of our Agriculture Unit. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to join our team as an Associate Vice-President Agriculture.

About the Role:

As an Associate Vice-President Agriculture, you will be responsible for leading a team of specialists who provide advice, support, and financial services to agricultural producers. Your primary objective will be to contribute to the growth of our clients by offering tailored solutions that meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of specialists to deliver exceptional client service and drive business growth.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase commercial client base and establish business development initiatives.
  • Oversee a sustainable and profitable growth plan, meeting financial performance targets.
  • Identify and manage risks inherent to the sector.
  • Stay up-to-date with economic trends affecting the Commercial Banking sector and ensure our products and services meet evolving client needs.
  • Promote the Bank's products and services with external parties, such as accountants, lawyers, and mortgage brokers.
About the Team:

You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for serving clients in Eastern Ontario, Outaouais, Lanaudière, Laval, Laurentides, and Abittibi-Témiscamingue. Our team is composed of 16 employees, including Account Managers and Account Representatives.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Master's degree in a related field and 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Significant experience dealing with Commercial Banking clients (mid-market and/or agriculture).
  • Knowledge of the agricultural sector or field.
  • Solid background in personnel management.
  • Experience in complex financing structures and risk analysis.
  • Experience in sales coaching.
  • Negotiation experience.
  • Ability to maximize the use of sales management tools.
