Restaurant Supervisor Job Description

Mondo Restaurant is seeking a skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are met.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that every guest has a positive experience.
  • Scheduling: Establish methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that our restaurant is fully staffed during peak periods.
  • Training and Development: Provide guidance and support to staff to help them develop their skills and knowledge, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our customers.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, with a strong background in food service management and customer service.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Availability: 30 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
