Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at Surplus Electrical Equipment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and inventory management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordination and Organisation: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports to management on warehouse performance and inventory levels.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery in the warehouse.
  • Inventory Management: Arrange for maintenance and repair work, and resolve work problems to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, train, and conduct performance reviews for warehouse staff.
  • Logistics and Scheduling: Co-ordinate, assign, and review work, establish work schedules and procedures, and plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics.
  • Inventory Control: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, and organize and maintain inventory.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
Supervision:
  • 1 to 2 people.
  • 3-4 people.
Experience:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years.
