Job Summary:

At Booster Prep Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems and networks. Your expertise will be essential in resolving issues and ensuring seamless operation of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Report on the performance of computer systems and networks
  • Respond to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems and networks
  • Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions
  • Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties
  • Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts
  • Participate in the redesign of applications and other software
  • Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties
  • Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations

Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
