We are seeking a talented Business Process Improvement Manager to join our team at Capital One Canada.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing delivery of business processes by defining and implementing process improvement agendas, driving efficiencies, and using data to create better experiences for our customers. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your process knowledge and stakeholder collaboration to measurably improve outcomes.

You will work closely with various departments, such as our agile software studio and our data scientist team, to develop and execute effective and efficient processes. Your leadership skills, including communication and change management, will be essential in helping drive key priorities like product launches, technology changes, and continuous improvement initiatives.

As a Business Process Improvement Manager, you will use a variety of techniques and tools to define, manage and improve processes, such as Visual Management, Business Process Management, Lean, and Six Sigma. You will also maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements and operational procedures, and ensure documentation is relevant and updated.

About the Salary

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $80,000-$100,000 per year, depending on experience.

Requirements
  • Recent graduates from (< 1 year) an undergraduate degree or graduates of Masters' programs from an accredited Canadian University.
  • Students graduating December-Spring 2025.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Commerce, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience in problem solving.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving skills and superior analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma/Process Improvement tools & methodology.
  • Experience in basic coding and/or data visualization (e.g. SQL, Tableau).
  • Experience working and collaborating in teams.
